I work on a soda canning line; there are loud moisture expellers going off and constant machining noises emanating constantly. This speaker is able to clearly pierce through all the ruckus with precision sound. All my audio mixes come through clearly. While you do lose some low end (sub) frequencies, the mid-lows and highs are very good and appropriate for loud environments / parties. Would recommend! Main gripe is the app has no multi-band EQ, it only shows battery life.

Man this speaker is awesome. Loud as heck and great bass. It’s not as big as description says. It’s about 1 foot long. But big. Sturdy. Just amazing. I want to add, this thing is the best sounding speaker I have ever owned. It beats fugoo by a long shot. Wow

Great sound! Long lasting battery!Easy to carry !! Cute!

This speaker is loud! And it also has great bass. I’ve been using it over 2 years now and its still working great. Would definitely recommend this Jbl speaker to anyone who wants to upgrade from a charge or flip.

My charge 3 was a great speaker for 4 years, but it finally lost the ability to hold its charge. So I decided to purchase another one. They raised it to 140 for a new one. I was about to buy that. Then I saw this was on sale for 40 bucks more. So I decided to upgrade. I have been using this speaker every day at work for about a month now. It sounds great. Nice stereo sound. I’m not a fan of the new style JBL speakers because they are mono and you need to to produce in stereo. Pretty solid bass for a portable. The speaker came with a carry strap and it’s not flimsy. Very sturdy strong clasps made of metal. Speaker is waterproof. The access to charge port is very tight and seals well. This speaker is a perfect choice if you want a loud full sound out of your music. I work around loud machines and this is far louder than they are. The only complaint I have is with the battery life. It states 15 hours but that’s only at 3/4 volume. If you have it close to max cut that almost in half. The longest it will last is about 8 to 9 hours. Other than that this thing is perfect for my daily use and I would highly recommend it to anyone. I paid 180 for this one. It’s a steal at that price but if it’s full price I probably wouldn’t buy and stick with the charge 3. It’s not that much louder but has better sound quality at higher volumes than the charge 3 did.

I wanted to review three JBL speakers, comparatively, in one go. I have in front of me now the Flip 6, Xtreme 2 and Xtreme 3. I started with the Flip 6, to replace some aging Bose soundlink Micros (Flip 6 is way better than both Bose Micro and Flex, IMO). Overall, of the three the Flip 6 is the best bang for the buck…great range of sound, decent volume and bass for indoor use. Does distort a little at max volume. I then got the Xtreme 3 with high hopes. It has tremendously crisp highs, deep lows, but it is VERY lacking in the midrange…the sound feels hollow, empty. Might be OK for synthetic music, but for anything instrumental I was disappointed. What I did find is if you pair the Flip 6 with the Xtreme 3 in party mode, they together sound very good. The Flip 6 fills the holes in the sound of the Xtreme 3, the Xtreme 3 expands the sound of the Flip 6. A great pairing…but now you need two speakers. So then I got the Xtreme 2…which I will be keeping instead of the Xtreme 3. The treble isn’t as crisp, the base maybe not quite as low, but it has good midrange, a much more balanced sound. A good way to explain it might be that the Xtreme 3 is better for drums/beats but the Xtreme 2 is better for bass and rhythm guitar. I wish that the Xtreme 2 could do party mode with the Flip 6, I bet that would be awesome, but the Xtreme 2 doesn’t pair with the newer ones. The Flip 6 I think has slightly better range than the Xtreme 2, but it isn’t as powerful sounding. Xtreme 2 gets louder and doesn’t seem to distort at high volume. In conclusion, from my perspective: the Flip 6 is the better overall, bang for the buck, for indoor use. The Xtreme 2 is really good, would take if over the Flip 6 for outdoors and wouldn’t be sad to have it in the house. The Xtreme 3 alone is just plain lacking…but if used in conjunction with the Flip 6,together are quite good. Xtreme 3 plus Flip 6 is louder and crisper than Xtreme 2 alone, a bit better range but not as powerful of a tone and still not as balanced in the mids.

It Rocks!Purchased this unit for my son’s birthday who works in the construction industry (harsh environment)… nothing but great feedback in terms of sound quality especially in an open outdoor space & durability as far as dust, humidity & other elements. He has been using it for 30+ days… so far so good.

  11. Maddie

JBL is always amazing!Love my JBL. I own already the nose cancelling headphones and the smaller version (charge 3). Sound is amazing. Battery life is awesome. After using it for weeks it died and I had to dig out the charger. Has good Bluetooth connection. I can walk away with my phone and it continues to play. For price it’s amazing quality. I find other speakers cost way more and have many problems.

Precio justoVale cada centavo, definitivamente este altavoz es lo justo entre precio y calidad.La definición de sonido es muy buena al igual que el volumen sin perder calidad.Muy recomendado
