I’m always on the lookout for good bluetooth speakers. I have a nice pair that link to provide stereo, are water proof, loud as heck, and portable. Problem is, they’re far too much trouble to lug around to do chores or to work on my vehicle. This little speaker fixes a lot of those problems.Packaging:It comes well packaged, a very nice box (a lot of attention to detail) and well padded. It comes with the speaker and a little USB C cable.Setup:Turn the speaker on by holding the power button. It’ll automatically go into pairing mode, and you search for it from your device like you would to pair any bluetooth device.Use:It’s a speaker, so there’s not much too it. Pick a song, show, whatever, hit play, listen. Where this speaker shines is its versatility. There’s a beefy clip on the back, too small for a belt but perfect to clip onto a pocket, neckline, or fixed object. I’ve been walking around with it clipped to my pocket and it’s been great! Hasn’t been knocked off once, in part because the profile isn’t too thick. It also has a magnet on the back which is AMAZING. It sticks to flat metal easily, so my fridge is easy game, and I’m looking forward to testing it on my vehicle for when I’m turning wrenches. I even stuck it to a towel hook in my bathroom so I could listen from the shower. It’s marked water resistant, but I don’t like to risk it with electronics. The charging port has a rubberized cover, so I imagine it could take some splashes easily.I haven’t been able to test this part, but apparently if you have two of these you can use them in stereo! I may get a second one just to test this (and as a backup).Don’t worry, it’s plenty loud, and very clear. Lacking in bass, but you’ll never get good bass from a tiny speaker.Final Thoughts:If you need a very portable bluetooth speaker, this is a great choice. It has a clip, a magnet, and a slim enough profile that you can use it just about anywhere. I’ve only used this for a few hours, but I’m hooked. This has a place in my messenger bag.Highly recommend!

The MEE audio goSPKR is a compact, wearable clip-on Bluetooth speaker that offers a unique combination of features and functionality. With its built-in magnet, IPX5 water resistance, and built-in speakerphone with a microphone, this device is designed to cater to a wide range of users who are looking for a portable, hands-free audio solution.Design and Build Quality:The goSPKR boasts a sleek and minimalist design, with a compact form factor that makes it easy to carry around. The built-in magnet is a nice touch, enabling users to secure the speaker to metal surfaces for added convenience. The device is made of durable materials, ensuring that it can withstand the rigors of daily use. The IPX5 water resistance rating means that it can handle splashes and light rain, making it suitable for outdoor activities or use in humid environments.Sound Quality and Connectivity:For a speaker of its size, the goSPKR delivers surprisingly good sound quality. The audio is clear and well-balanced, with a decent amount of bass for a small speaker. The volume is also impressive, considering its compact size. The Bluetooth connectivity is reliable and easy to set up, with a range of up to 30 feet. The ability to connect up to two speakers in stereo mode is a nice bonus, allowing users to create a more immersive audio experience.Built-in Speakerphone and Microphone:The built-in speakerphone and microphone are a welcome addition, enabling users to make hands-free calls without having to disconnect the speaker. The microphone quality is decent, ensuring that callers can hear you clearly, even in noisy environments.Battery Life:The goSPKR has a battery life of up to 6 hours, which is reasonable for a speaker of its size. However, users who plan on using the device for extended periods may want to keep a portable charger handy. Conclusion:Overall, the MEE audio goSPKR is a versatile and well-designed Bluetooth speaker that offers a unique combination of features. Its compact size, water resistance, and built-in speakerphone make it an excellent choice for those who are looking for a portable, hands-free audio solution. While the battery life could be improved, the goSPKR’s sound quality, connectivity, and overall functionality make it a solid choice for anyone in the market for a wearable Bluetooth speaker.

I got this for listening to podcasts while doing house and yard activities. I normally carry around a small speaker (my phone isn’t loud enough) but like that this can just clip on my shirt or pants/shorts pocket. It gets plenty loud and has a reasonably full sound. I just wish the controls stuck out more so they could be found by feel without looking.Sound quality is good given its size. Podcast voices sound full and not tinny. There is good high-frequency response too. Music sounded decent. Not great, and there is distortion with the volume all the way up. This is good for quieter casual listening, podcasts, and phone calls.Microphone quality is OK for Bluetooth. Not super, but decent and intelligible. Mic is on top and picks up OK from waist, and well from chest and held in front like a mic. Noise suppression is good; I got a few inches from a white noise sleep machine and it filtered it almost completely out. There is that phasing effect that noise suppression gives, even when it’s quiet. Mic quality is plenty to for voice calls.Speaker is decent quality. Plastic feels decent. Looks good with mesh on front and iconic buttons. Back clip holds well. Magnets are also strong and hold to fabric well. Magnetic back for sticking to metal is decent, but the slick back surface makes it slide down fairly easily (thin grip tape on back of magnet fixes this). Speaker balances easily on its side. Charging is USB-C and has a rubber dust/water cover.Controls are a little non-standard, where the O button is usually between the +/-. Good voice feedback when turning on, connecting, etc. Makes it easy to diagnose issues. Pairing and connection were quick. Control presses are intuitive, +/- for volume, long-press for track. O is play/pause.
