This little speaker really impresses! It’s light and small but can produce more than enough sound for a small group of runners. It’s still ambient enough that a runner can play music for their own enjoyment without disrupting the environment. I really prefer it over having headphones or even open air headphones for listening to music while running! The magnet makes it work with almost any clothing. It’s fine for normal running, but I would definitely recommend using the spring clip instead for trail running because the bouncing can get more intense depending on the technical difficulty of the trail. The buttons/controls are well placed, intuitive, and easy to use. The battery life is great! I’ve never had it run out of battery on a run (granted I have not been on any runs over 4 hours with it). The current version uses a USB-C charger, which means you don’t have to get a new charging cable (it comes with a short one). The area where it isn’t perfect: spoken audio is average. While it has a microphone, I wouldn’t normally take a call on it. Audiobooks and podcasts sound average, but I mostly use it for music anyways.Definitely a 5-star review, as there is no portable speaker that comes even close to this. It’s better for runner safety as well since you don’t have to have anything in your ears!I recommend getting their protective sleeve as well. Not only is it great for protecting the speaker, I’ve gotten so many compliments when choosing colors that match my running kit.

I use this Bluetooth speaker for work. I work both outside and inside throughout the day. I’m around my customers quite frequently, so when I read in the reviews that I can keep the sound low enough that I can hear it comfortably without people around me hearing well, I wanted to give it a try. That part turns out to be true. Sure, I can have earbuds in and have the volume up wherever I like it with transparency mode on, but using touch controls on earbuds isn’t exactly reliable. This thing is so easy to use. SO EASY. So what sold me on this unit was that I hate wearing earbuds. Earbuds bother my ears after wearing them for so long. The battery runs out easily (4-5 hours) therefore I need to charge them to use them all day. I tend to fumble around trying to pause when I need to talk to a customer or passerby. It’s just a clumsy experience that I was hoping this product would solve. And solve it sure did! I can take calls (which sounds like someone is standing right next to me. YOU HAVE TO BUY THEM FOR THIS FEATURE ALONE!!), play, pause, change track and volume with ease. The design of how they can either clip to your shirt or attach via magnet is brilliant. I’m pretty active in my job, so using the magnet attachment isn’t really for me. The magnet is strong enough for something this light, but it can easily be knocked off by bumping into it. That is the only drawback, but it’s not a big deal at all.Anyway. As long as these last a couple of years, I highly recommend them. Too soon to tell, but it’s got to be one of my favorite tech products in a long time.Oh, I almost forgot. These connect to my phone seamlessly, and a pleasant, human-style voice says the unit is on, connected, and turning off. It is quite nice.

This is a 4.9 star product. Impressive not just in function, but also in build quality.Functional Wearable Device – I have custom notifications set up on my phone (Android/BuzzKill/Speaki). Those customizations combined with this $50 speaker mean that when specific notifications come through, I can hear exactly what they are without pulling my phone out. Plus, double tapping the play button triggers Google Assistant/Gemini. Reminders, searches, voice dialing are all much more accessible through the day.Excellent Battery Life – I put mine on when getting dressed in the morning and don’t take it off until I’m getting into bed. Music is playing on it 75% of the time I have it on. Even when I shower, thanks to the water resistance of the device, I keep it with me – playing music and letting it tell about important notifications.Great Sound – this thing can get quite loud and is able to do it without having the audio quality sound like poo. Granted, if you clip it to your collar, you’re probably not going to want it turned up much past 40% or so, but if you want or need to, the option is there. The speaker is also designed in a way where it’s facing you when you have it attached to your body, so the sound waves are directed right to your ear.Great Microphone – Almost every Bluetooth device I buy is okay-at-best when it comes to call quality. I almost always have to switch to my handset at some point because the person can’t hear me. This little speaker picks up what I’m saying, even with background noise. I haven’t had any issues with voice conversations. Even ChatGPT can get everything I’m saying during voice chats.Great for Mobility – Both the clip and the magnet are great quality. I have a very physical job and this hasn’t fallen off, nor has it gotten in the way at any point yet.So, is there a catch? Yes, there are 2 actually. First, although it’s a very discreet color (black), it’s design and size are not so discreet. If you wear it around the place, people will look at it curiously and you may be asked what it is. However, because of its functionality and build quality, I personally don’t mind looking like a dork wearing a speaker on his shirt. If style and appearance are your only priorities, get the Tokk wearable. But if function and quality are what you’re looking for, this is the one to buy. Second catch: it isn’t light as a feather. I don’t have any sensory sensitivities, but I would be lying if I said I didn’t feel it pulling on my shirt from time to time. To be fair, I often wear light, loose fitted shirts because I live in a hot environment. But I do feel it a little, particularly when bending or leaning forward. In summary, get it. And get one as a gift for someone else too. They’ll love it. Kudos to the folks that made this thing.

The battery life is much better than a lot of other products. The volume range is very large. It goes from quiet enough for just you to hear, to loud enough for a large room of people. The magnet works really well but I have bumped it a few times and itโ€™s fallen. The sound quality is as great as some other products, but itโ€™s very good for a speaker this small. I really like it. Worth the money for sure. The volume can be very low and you can still hear it perfectly because of the ability to clip it to your shirt close to your shoulder (or use the magnet), making it much closer to your ear.
